Installed custom cabinets that I had purchased from a large local building supply company. He installed my kitchen cabinets and moldings and a bathroom vanity. The building supply company delivered my cabinets very late on a Friday evening, asked for a signiture confirming that I received the cabinets, and confirmed that the installer would be at my home on Monday morning. I don’t remember being told that the work that I had paid them to do was being sub-contracted out. The installer arrived early and unboxed all of the cabinets, set up all the saws, tables, etc. I was skeptical that one person could install a kitchen full of cabinets in one day, but he assured me that he could and that he would. The installer was Jim Ferrell. He was very focused and fast. He laid out all of the cabinets, based on the schematic, and he went to work. My skepticism and stress vanished by the time that he had put up a couple of cabinets and I realized how lucky I was that Jim Ferrell was the subcontractor that they sent to do my kitchen. He cleaned up every box and swept up every bit of saw dust on my floor and in my cabinets. He finished all of the installation in the time frame that he said he would. There was not a scratch or nick on any of my gorgeous cabinets and they looked great! Recently I found out that Jim had a company, Fine Line Construction. I was happy to be able to write a review for his new company and to tell all of the homeowners out there looking for a professional, that they have found one in him. I am looking forward to Jim putting in closet organizers in my bedrooms, and cabinetry and vanities in my bath during Phase II of our remodel. And I am still enjoying my new kitchen.
